FIFA Fan Festival™ Mural

JULY 2023 | FIFA FAN FESTIVAL™, FESTIVAL PLAZA, ADELAIDE, SA

For the Adelaide/Tarntanya 2023 FIFA Fan Festival, I was engaged to create a mural that celebrated the natural beauty of South Australia and the FIFA Women’s World Cup in a bright, colourful and energetic mural.  

The mural features Australian sea lions at Kangaroo Island’s Remarkable Rocks, Sturt’s desert pea, two female players with a soccer ball under field lights, a winding grapevine with a bunch of grapes and leaves, the Flinders Ranges with native speargrass and a yellow-footed rock wallaby.

Colours and angular panels from the FIFA Fan Festival branding have been utilised creating visual unity between the mural and the festival signage.
